Arthur W. Cooler, MD


Dr. Arthur CoolerDr. Arthur Cooler received his medical degree from The Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine in Augusta, Georgia after receiving a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.  He completed his residency in General Surgery at The University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Widely respected in his field, Dr. Cooler has co-authored numerous articles and has provided numerous educational lectures to other physicians, medical students, and patients themselves during his 20 plus years of practice. Dr. Cooler is a strong advocate of limb salvation in diabetics, using his specialty skill with leg stents to help promote better circulation in the extremities to avoid the need for amputation.  

Kelly C. Harris, MD


Dr. Kelly C. HarrisDr. Kelly C. Harris is a General Surgeon practicing with Providence Surgical Associates in Columbia, SC. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, and completed his internship and residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining Providence Health, Dr. Harris was a General Surgeon with the Jackson Clinic in Tennessee performing a broad range of cases including breast, colorectal, hemodialysis access, vascular, endocrine, trauma, robotics, foregut, and more. Dr. Harris is trained and experienced in robotic surgery and is looking forward to pursuing the development of a robotic surgery program at Providence. Prior to his role at Jackson Clinic, he participated in multiple medical mission trips including Guadalajara, Mexico, Managua, Nicaragua, and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. When not in the office or operating room, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with his family, running, cooking, soccer, and yoga. Dr. Harris is fluent in Spanish.

Emily Cain Parker, PA-C


Emily Cain Parker, PA-CEmily Parker received her Masters of Physician Assistant (PA) from Augusta University in 2017. Prior to attending PA school she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Presbyterian College. Specializing in General and Plastic Surgery, she is also certified in Advanced Care Life Support and Basic Life Support. Emily’s current clinical interests are in skin care, reconstructive surgery and clinical research. As a native of Columbia she has grown up being a part of the Providence family. Emily is an active member of the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (SCAPA). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as venturing out and staying active.  

Nicole Schneider, PA-C


Nicole Schneider PA-CNicole Schneider, PA-C, received her Masters of Physician Assistant (PA) Medicine from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia, and a Bachelors of Health Sciences with a minor in Public Health from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoake. In addition to general surgery, which she specializes in at Providence Surgical Associates, Nicole's professional career includes work in trauma. She also received her paramedic certification.  

Mallory Parker, PA-C


Mallory Parker, PA-C, received her Masters of Physician Assistant (PA) and Bachelors of Science from Augusta University located in Augusta, Georgia. Specializing in General Surgery, she is also a Board Certified Respiratory Therapist, Advanced Care Life Support, and Basic Life Support.
