Daniel Pinckney Bouknight, MD, FACC
Dr. Daniel Bouknight received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine here in Columbia, SC, after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University in Greenville, SC. He was the Chief Resident in internal medicine at University of South Carolina School of Medicine where he also completed his internship in the same field. He completed a fellowship in cardiology and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at University of Texas Health Sciences Center. Dr. Bouknight is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. His professional affiliations include the Medical Journal Club of South Carolina, American Medical Association, American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography, and the Columbia Medical Society. From 2003 to 2005 he served as the Chief of Cardiology at Providence Hospital, where he has also served as Chief of Staff.
