Dr. Brown received his MD from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center’s Gill Heart Institute. Dr. Brown was an assistant professor of cardiovascular medicine at University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and he also served as director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory and chief of invasive and interventional cardiology at WJB Dorn Veterans Medical Center in Columbia, SC. His specialties include echocardiography, myocardial perfusion imaging, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion, ventricular endomyocardial biopsy, pericardiocentesis, septal ablation, coronary intervention, and peripheral angiography. Dr. Brandon Brown is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease.
