Dr. Khoury earned her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, where she also completed her internship and residency in internal medicine. She completed her fellowship in cardiology at the University of Mississippi in Jackson. Ms. Khoury was an assistant professor of medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, WJB Dorn VA Hospital, where she also served as director of the coronary care unit, chairman of the special care committee and a member of the professional standards board. She also served as chief of the cardiology department for Providence Health, a hospital system in Columbia, SC, that is nationally recognized for its cardiovascular services and program. She is a Principal Investigator in Parke-Davis' ADVANCE Phase II CHF trials and in the National Institutes of Health/St. Elizabeth's Medical Center of Boston investigation of restenosis in women. She is also the Sub Investigator for pharmaceutical trials at Providence Cardiology. She is certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Khoury is also part of the Providence Vein Center.
